It’s possible you’ve already experienced our MicroModal fabric. In fact, your butt might be sitting in it right now. And that’s fantastic, because it’s some comfy stuff. But maybe you’re asking, “what is MicroModal?”

If you are asking that, it’s your lucky day because we’re about to fill you in on our super-secret MeUndies story, which will cover every single little detail about how this collection came about. Disclaimer: It probably won’t be nearly as dramatic as the name suggests, but let’s get this story rollin’ anyway. We’re burning daylight.

Comfort Inside and Out

Basically, our MicroModal collection started with a single question: How can we help everyone feel truly comfortable? Because at MeUndies, comfort is the name of the game—and that goes with how you feel on the outside AND on the inside. 

We know that feeling truly comfortable isn’t just about what’s touching your skin; it’s about feeling comfortable in your skin. So, with this in mind, we embarked on a grand adventure to answer that question. 

The Softest Fabric in the Entire World

We knew that first and foremost, we had to find the softest fabric in the entire world. Like the absolute softest. And guess what—we found it. And crazily enough, it grows on trees! It’s this sort of wild process where beechwood trees are pounded into a pulp to extract fibers, and then those fibers are spun into yarn, and voila! It all becomes our irresistibly soft MicroModal fabric. Which is so soft, it actually feels like heaven on your skin. Like really; this is fact.

Natural & Sustainable

Amazingly, super-softness isn’t the only incredible thing about MicroModal. Because it grows from trees, it’s quite literally a natural fabric—which has all sorts of awesome benefits. For example, you might be wondering, “is modal breathable?” We are so pleased to let you know that it certainly is. Its sustainably-sourced fibers help to regulate your body temperature, resulting in a breathable fabric that keeps you cool and comfy. 

MicroModal also absorbs moisture to minimize static cling, and is even biodegradable—meaning it can fully revert back to nature. How cool is that? Oh and also, it’s really soft. Like softer than a baby’s butt soft. And a pile of clouds.

Then What?

Right! So we had the softness thing covered (plus the bonus of all that natural goodness), so we had figured out how to help you feel truly comfortable on the outside. But then we had to find a way to help you feel truly comfortable on the inside. And then… light bulb!

We had our answer: turning that softer-than-soft fabric into endless styles designed for self-expression, so you could find the one that best fits you. 

We came up with all sorts of wacky prints (Robots! Pizza! Because what’s the point of wearing soft-as-heck Undies if you don’t feel like you when wearing them?

We gotta admit, it was quite the journey answering that question. But in the end, we simply mixed heavenly-soft fabric with tons of styles in Undies, Loungewear, Sleepwear, and more so you’d feel truly comfy from head to toe, outside to in.
